Happy CNY 2006 all, anyways have tons of relatives in my home now. usually only see them once a year. only get along wif a number of my closer nephews. cant really clique with the rest of them. odd how i feel isolated even wif my extended family. ah well. so here i am, holed up in my room alone. was checking email. LO and BEHOLD!! a good omen from GMAIL

had to work today, was a last minute bomb dropped off onto my lap. anyways, finally managed to struggle and finish at 7pm or so. quickly rushed back home for reunion dinner. had nice steamboat thingee. very simple but still was good headed to PS after that to meet joe and the rest for the movie, Fearless. was kinda nice. engaging show, mostly fighting but then again its jet li, the man knows his strengths.

while leaving the carpark saw this strange sight. a parade of cars, all the same model, all modified the same way wif the same body kit and the same twin exhaust. only difference, is they were in different colours. begged joe to stop while i ran to snap a few shots of ‘em cars.

headed off to the airport for some drinks. coffee bean was however under renovation so we opted for MacDonalds, was kinda hungry. ordered a 20pcs nuggets!! yay… i always usually order nuggets in 20pcs, believe they are at their best in that quantity. the guy who took our order was kinda from space or he was heading there. i dont mean to be critical but how difficult an order is a large OJ, a medium ice-milo and a 20pcs nuggets. tried to buzz us off wif only 2 packets of chilli sauce. i made my stand. he gave me an overkill. 4 packs of every sauce. i give up.

joe was also complaining how they cheated him of the large fries. didnt seem all that large after all. they dont make things like they used to. was feeling peckish still after that. so i came back with another 6pcs nuggets, before we called it a night and headed home. not before finding out that kelz is born in the year of a dog. of cos my very intelligent mind quickly made up a witty qibb which came out my mouth instantly. haha… good thing kel was tired

was at BK just now for a bite of dinner wif my two engineers, YK and Darren… forgot what we were talking about but i remember it was kinda funny, so here i was blabbering on and on, suddenly YK with a mouth-full of milo couldnt take it anymore, and started laughing, emitting a high pressured stream of thick chocolatey milo at Darren who was sitting opposite him, dousing him point blank in the beverage. damnest thing i saw, wish i had a video camera turned on at that moment. its just like on how they do it on tv *spray*

just watched a portion of a HBO movie, iron jawed angels, its about the fight of the woman’s suffrage for rights. very powerful show, the main lead actress playing alice paul was jennifer garnier hillary swank, think she was quite brilliant in it. anyways, was a good movie, very moving and very touching.

YAY~!!! i’m finally getting my new TV tomorrow… WOOT~!!! after half a month of staring at the 14″ one that my mom took out from her room to put in the living room cos the 32″ one finally went to that big tv place in the sky, i’m finally free from squinting tomorrow… WOOT~!! downside is that i only get to watch it for bout 15mins before i have to go to work if they deliver on time tomorrow.

have no idea why, but i’m in a glorious mood now. feeling really happy, light-hearted without a care in the world. everything seems so good. but i have absolutely no idea why. hmmm…maybe its something in the water i’m drinking? *lalalala*

congratulations, you are now a premier member of this establishment. with that, i finished my phase 1 of my RT and graduated into my phase 2 which will begin after the CNY week. actually i quite enjoy the RT nowadays, its pretty interesting. you get to meet a number of old unit friends often, who you would otherwise see only about once or twice a year, and there are always new people to meet and talk to. topics of conversation may range from underachievers bitching about the very fit who are for some reason also in RT to current economic and career reviews, or just simply what’s the training about that day. so yes, i’m a premier member now

been noticing a bad habit of mine nowadays, every now and then, i’ll scroll through my entire MSN list to see who is online and who is not. most often this happens at 1am onwards. maybe i’m just lonely? or maybe i like to monitor the online habits of my friends and try and deduce their psyche through the type of messages that are being used as nicks and the frequency of them changing. think i’m just lonely…

like leaves falling from trees in autumn, softly drifting in the winds, gently floating down to the ground, to be forgotten and swept away by the passing breezes of chance. so seems my memories, and good times in my past, things seems to be falling apart nowadays, all good things must come to an end i guess. just wish that it lasted awhile longer.
