I’m Blonde, James Brawn…
finally caught the latest installment of the James Bond franchise…i must say, if this person was somehow going to evolve into Sean Connery, seeing as this was the first part of the series, i can’t in nine hells see that happening. first of all, he just lacks that little something, the charm, the x-factor, sure he may be one of the most buffed up Bonds around but then again, if i wanted to watch buffed up, i’d be watching Baywatch or something. No, you watch Bond because you know he’ll charm the socks off you, you watch Bond cause he has really nifty gadgets, you watch Bond cause you wish you could handle women just like he does….its the all round persona of a good James Bond movie. this one sadly doesn’t have it.
Not to say the show is bad, its a good action / spy movie, but other then the blantant blaring of the James Bond theme in the background and the name tosing here there and everywhere, i wouldnt have known that i was watching a Bond flick, at least until the last few minutes where there’s a Bond’ness, for a lack of a better word, in the show.
Craig, not a bad actor, pretty good, but then again, maybe he needs to watch more Bond movies that’s all i can say…
Overall, i’m glad i watched it on a Monday, worth every cent of my $6.50….
